New unlocks

Decisions, decisions. I've got two unlocks to use, and having looked at the changes, am slightly confused. According to a table in the SGS Battlefield forum (Can't link, work filter) the new sniper rifle looks precisly the same as the M24, and the P90 seems sucky:( .
It do however looks like the two support guns has been given a good upgrade in terms of accuracy??

Seems like they might be the ones to go for. Any comments / advice??

Anybody played with the P90 yet. Internet is full of the new sniperrifle, but not much about the P90.

ive never seen the p90 not even seen someone kill someone with it so i was thinking it either soo bad that noone uses it or its not possible to get u never know with ea and all!

Gathu I'll unlock the P90 and shoot at you and you tell me how quick you died and then we can do it with all the other weapons and then you can compare.... and yes I am told very often what a kind and helpful person I am

Punky, your kindness bring tears to my eyes.:cry: I have however decided to unlock the jackhammer, because I want to beef up on my engineer skills.

I however still have a burning desire to fly. Maybe I'll let you C4 me to see if I can get my airborne medal without a chute.:D

I got the p90 and it's pretty cool, it's basically a fully auto pistol with a 50 round clip, and a laser sight. - 8 shots to kill according to the wiki.

but wiki and EA's representation of guns in BF2 have never been kosher to start off with... from CSS experience the P90's 50 round clip is good for spraying in close quarter combat... useless for long range shots though...

It's pretty fast, if your ~ 10+ metres from your opponent it'll kill quicker than the DAO12, and you can be effective long range, unlike the DAO.

dont mean to burst ur bubble but to get the airborne ribbon you have to be in a parachute

But the 9 key does not work after I've been launched :(

I found the best way to get my parachute ribbon was to get into a blackhawk, fly to the center of a map, and go up as high as you can go. It might be worthwhile to do it as spec ops, lay some C4 and detonate on your way down - that way the chopper doesn't spin out of control forever, and you have to wait for it.
You'll get your ribbon soon enough.

tg the easiest way to get ur airbourne ribbon is to take a plane fly it straight up and jump out parachute and presto. using a black hawk will take forever to get that high!

purple hearts are awarded to all peeps in the us army that get killed in a foreign land by a foreign army thats all. thay actaully give out purple hearts in the bucket load!

Actually, by that logic, there would be far fewer purple hearts awarded to American troops...
